Papa Wojtyla vs. Papa Lefebvre

Let me tell you: These SSPXers are the absolute masters of double-talk.... They reject ecumenism but seek ecumenism. They claim communion with the Pope but deny his authority. They accept Tradition, but draw their own line on what is and isn't kosher. And they post a critique of John Paul which states that "the same Catholic principles... still apply" to B16, with whom they seek "dialogue" (i.e. "Econe talks, Rome obeys.").

A sampling:
  • It is not for us to judge [John Paul's] culpability in the destruction of the Church, more devastating now than in any previous pontificate...
  • but we must make a judgment of his words and actions inasmuch as they affect our eternal salvation...
We are not to cooperate blindly in the destruction of the Church by tolerating the implementation of a new religion or by not doing what we can to defend our Catholic faith. Archbishop Lefebvre was surely our model here.
"Tu est Marcellus?" Doesn't ring a bell, sorry.

This is the most judgmental non-judgment I have ever seen... In that vein, and guided by their "Catholic" example, I can safely assure you that it is not for me to judge excommunicated schismatics.
