Katrina Intercessions?

Here's something interesting -- checking the numbers and the referrals, someone Googled in search of pre-written intercessions for those affected by the hurricane.... If anyone would be interested, the occasional liturgical writer in me is highly tempted to jump into the fray:

"For the victims of Hurricane Katrina -- the dead and those who mourn, the homeless and the deprived, the sick and the caretakers of them all; that the God who has saved us from sin, death and peril may hear the cry of the poor and come to their aid in body and spirit. We pray to the Lord...."

OK, so that's my $.02.... The combox can probably do a better job of it.

You can take it from the ByzLit:

"For deliverance from all affliction, wrath, danger, and need, let us pray to the Lord:"
