The Univision coverage of Guadalupe Midnight has now gone to San Antonio, where more Aztec drummers and half-naked dancers have shaken it for Our Lady in the sanctuary of San Fernando Cathedral.

Archbishop Jose Gomez is beaming as he takes it all in, offering a rose up to the full-scale copy of the tilma on display, as more Mariachis sing "Guadalupe, Virgen Morena" -- "Guadalupe, Dark Virgin."

On the Piero Marini scale, this is rating a 12. Right up there with the Synod for Oceania.
