So it's been announced that the third Justice Sunday, when Republican Christians bemoan the fact that their judgments do not carry the force of law, will be held at Greater Exodus Baptist Church here in this city. It's to take place on 8 January as a touchpoint for confirmation hearings on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel Alito, which begin the next morning; the event will seek to indoctrinate unsuspecting viewers that Alito was anointed by Jesus Christ, Himself, for the vacant swing seat on the Court, and that Alito must be defended at the cost of one's salvation.
But, still in all, there's less excitement in the air about this JS than about the two which preceded it. Seems the Republican church still has to learn the lesson Fox did when it ran
American Idol twice in a year: Saturation decreases interest.
