At this hour, the November Meeting of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has gone into closed Executive Session until the gathering's adjournment Thursday morning.
As the media and observers start to pack up and head home, word's gotten around that the 2006 Summer Meeting of the USCCB will be held in sunny Los Angeles.
Um, this could get interesting.... And in my mainstream capacity as US correspondent for The Tablet -- well, one of them -- I'm looking forward to being there for it.
And I'm fixin' to get a table at the Stinking Rose and hold onto it. For four days.
