...well, it isn't for anyone seeking to throw Benedict from the train and hijack his pontificate.
One appointment was released this morning, to the Italian archdiocese of Pescara-Penne. And the appointee wasn't Piero Marini, as some eager beavers were buzzing about a couple months back.
Yet again, rumours of the Great Maestro's demise are highly unfounded. He is the Man of Steel. God love him.
And then we have the issue of hysterics over the document release that wasn't. My phone started ringing at 4pm yesterday that something was "afoot" for today. Well, that's what happens when ideology trumps fact -- irresponsibile trigger-happiness and bad journalism, more of the same from the conservative echo-chamber.
Now, could something big be coming tomorrow morning? At least that's buzz with good, objective sourcing....
