Pelosi: OK, Let's Talk

After San Francisco Archbishop George Niederauer announced in his yesterday column that he would write Nancy Pelosi "to invite her into a conversation with me" on the House Speaker's public departures from church teaching, the California Dem accepted the invite:

Pelosi said in a letter to Niederauer that she'd "welcome the opportunity for our personal conversation and to go beyond our earlier most cordial exchange about immigration and needs of the poor to Church teaching on other significant matters."

No date for the encounter was disclosed.
