Rupert Murdoch buys share of Polish Catholic TV station:
TV Puls is owned by the Franciscan Brothers. A spokesman for Mr Murdoch's News Corporation said the company would work with the province to develop the station’s programming and distribution.

The spokesman said he believed it was the first time that Mr Murdoch had bought a share of Catholic media.
On the recommendation of Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles, Murdoch was named a knight of St Gregory the Great in 1998 by Pope John Paul II.
