Off to the Races

From the start, folks, it's already made a very long weekend – lots of tensions and impressions around... and on things far beyond what you'd think.

(Even more, though – albeit on a personal level – an added thanks to so many friends for the wonderfully kind words over the course of the day... put mildly, what a blessing, grace and overwhelming gift you are always. It's so good to be "home" again.)

More in the morning – and for the record, in a break from the norm, the first public session of this November Meeting won't begin up the Big Escalator until 10.15am Eastern (1530 GMT), the work-day seeing its start with the bench in regional sessions.

As ever, the key elements of the first part of Opening Day are the (post-election) Presidential Address of Cardinal Timothy Dolan and the remarks of the Apostolic Nuncio to Washington, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò.

Per custom, the public sessions wrap on Tuesday afternoon before a full day's executive session on Wednesday and the closing Holy Hour on Thursday morning.

With text and vid-streams on-hand, see you come daylight... and as yet another Fall Classic gets underway, another November's greetings from the Big Top.
