With the signal feast of ecclesial communication upon us -- at least, in the Northeast -- and global Catholicism's annual day dedicated to media coming again this weekend, perhaps there's no better point of the year for American viewers to wake up to this....


To be sure, the Today show's second outing at the Vatican wasn't without its strange co-conspirators... then again, further proof that it's a big church.
