As first relayed by your pages some days back, early today the leading Italian vaticanista -- Il Giornale's Andrea Tornelli -- joined in calling B16's announcement of a new intake of cardinals for tomorrow's General Audience, with the designates to formally receive the red hat on 20 November....
For the record: no, it doesn't look like the above anymore.
In the meanwhile, your narrator's up late, trying to wrap a briefing to the recent donors who've helped keep these pages afloat.
As the budget currently stands, while the past week's been a huge shot in the arm, covering the expected consistory ($800 round-trip flight + €150/night lodging) remains a no-go... that is, unless this crowd deems otherwise.....
Either way, such is life, all thanks again to everyone who's lent a hand.... And of course, as always, stay tuned.
