As some might already know, this work -- and, no lie, life as this scribe knows it -- owes itself to a creation of new cardinals... one now many moons ago.

Thanks to that backdrop, the coming of another batch always tends to be a sentimental moment 'round here... add in the thought of finally getting see the Big Dance with one's own eyes, and friends on the list, and it's all nothing short of overwhelming.
