Still Beat-ing

Fret not, gang -- everything's still in working order and the pages'll be humming again shortly... all thanks for your patience, and in the meantime, let's just say that while the backscene's been eventful, loud and taken quite the bite of time and energy to keep after, the bottom line remains that for all the loads of buzz on the street, not one silver bullet has surfaced in the mix.

That is, not yet.

For now, after days on end of recon, the only thing still nailable on the Big One is that it's "soon" -- indeed, sooner than it was before... and all arrangements are in place to zoom 102 miles north at a moment's notice.

In the meantime, however, let's all just relax and keep breathing, OK?

Again and as always, thanks for every good thing: all the feedback, kindnesses, support, prayers, corrections -- and, of course, the "are you alive?" notes. And a particularly special thanks to the folks who've helped with the travel budget for when, at long last, the moment arrives.

All that said, as the wider scene remains relatively quiet, threading some lines together from recent days' doings for (re-)starters. 'Til they see light, suffice it to say, it's great to be back.
