As Guadalupe celebrations continue through the day, the next ramp-up's already well underway; following weekend kickoffs in the local churches, early Monday begins the traditional Filipino Christmas Novena as -- from San Francisco and Seattle to St Patrick's Cathedral -- the reach of Simbang Gabi booms ever bigger on these shores with each passing year.
