In the River City, our Savior's gone missing:

Officials say they hope a baby Jesus figure stolen from a creche on Independence Mall in Philadelphia will be returned.

Police are still investigating the weekend theft. A nearby church lent a replacement figure of the baby Jesus for a dedication ceremony on Monday.

Organizer John Kelly of the National Park Service says officials thought the foot-long figure was securely bolted down.

Pray that he might be safely found.

Meanwhile, in Sacramento, one feast-day worshipper ran off with Blessed Sacrament Cathedral's likeness of La Guadalupana.
