Back from a coffee break, the bench has started into its debate and vote on this meeting's key liturgy item -- the Proper of Seasons for the new rendering of the Roman Missal.

And for once, a marquee worship item strangely feels anteclimactic.

SVILUPPO: With "gibbet" gone to its sunset, latest word to face the block: "ineffable"....

Chair's response: "Well, I don't think 'ineffable' is 'unspeakable.'"

...and, with that, the motion failed.
