De Terrores

Lest anyone could use it this election season -- just in case, say, you find yourself talking politics with folks attached to the Extraordinary Form -- the Vatican's chief Latinist Fr Reggie Foster offered some of today's political buzzwords (or, as he called it, "blah blah blah jargon") in the ancient tongue for his weekly segment on Vatican Radio.

Meanwhile, in the latest official work of the Milwaukee-born Carmelite's hand, earlier this week the Holy See quietly rolled out a version of its homepage in the church's official language.

Sure, its web debut only came post-Vicipaedia... but the city-state's still the only place in the world you'll find an ATM machine in Latinum.
