Greetings from the nation's capital... better to ease in a bit in advance than blow in like a tornado on Tuesday.

Forgive the slow posting and inbox buildup -- it's been a whirlwind of a first day... already. But all in good fun, of course.

And now, the last night of normal sleep I'll be getting for a week.
