An Ordinary Vatican Morning

Whether bishops on ad limina, jubilarians on pilgrimage, or someone's-friend's-nephew's-neighbor, it sometimes seems as if half the world got to make it up the Scala Regia and into the papal apartment for morning Mass in the reign of John Paul II.

Obviously, that's anything but the case these days.

B16 might keep a much quieter home life than did his predecessor... but made a rare exception for a crew from the Italian state broadcaster, RAI.
