The Circus Winds Down

As you can see, the long days aren't just wearing down the press corps.

Forgive the slow posting; 18-hour stints on the floor leave little time to think, let alone write. But the crowd's been great, the feeling good, the confession lines short, and the official business now finished.

All that's left is to figure out which items make the week's "Heard in the Halls"... suffice it to say, there's a good bit of material.

In the meantime, after its main opposition folded during yesterday afternoon's executive session, the four-yearly letter on "Faithful Citizenship" was approved by an unusually-high 98% of the body earlier today... and the final draft is up.

All other texts and statements from the meeting can be found at this link.
