Bertone: No Proselytism in Russia

The Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone SDB, spoke to Vatican-Moscow relations earlier today after Patriarch Alexei II accused the Holy See of an "extremely unfriendly policy" toward the Russian Orthodox and their ilk:
"I do not know Patriarch Alexy's statement, but I believe that relations between Moscow's patriarchate and the Holy See are sufficiently good and talks are taking place, with frequent visits," said the cardinal.

"Moreover, we do not want to engage in proselytism in Russia," he added.
How ironic -- as secretary of the CDF, Bertone was charged with the public revelation of the "Third Secret" of Fatima in 2000.
