Initium Evangelii....

The scene: late April, a conference room in midtown Manhattan. At the close of a meeting, before making my way to St Patrick's Cathedral and the now-famous pilgrimage to the crypt, Bill McGarvey, the rockstar/editor-in-chief of Busted Halo, came over and said, "Can you hang around for a bit?"

With the "extra omnes" sounded, we pulled up to the table and spent the better part of an hour comparing notes on many things. Given McGarvey's easy-going nature and our shared Philly roots, it made for great fun and a nice free-flow of thought.

And then came the pitch: "Can we do a profile of you?" he asked.

A ministry of the Paulists which does the unsung gruntwork of reaching out to the church's "seekers," both young and old, BH is running the first part of the result today. So, just in case you're interested, check it out.
