Showtime in Joliet?

Building on buzz ran here the other day, I've been told that the deans and consultors of the diocese of Joliet have already been summoned to the chancery on Tuesday morning, with the understanding that they'll be greeting the successor to the retiring Bishop Joseph Imesch.

Word is that the new bishop already has experience running a diocese. And that means two words: big broom.
