Senza Mantilla, Senza Mozzetta: Bush Women Meet Pope

No POTUS to be found, Benedict XVI received Laura Bush -- Mrs. "W" -- and her daughter, Barbara (the Cute Twin) in a private audience this morning. FLOTUS is in Italy as head of the US delegation to the Winter Olympics, which begin tomorrow.

As it was a private visit, there was no ermine to be found, either. Nor a mantilla on the Cute Twin's head.

Don't pounce, church queens. Judging by the footage, the Pope looked delighted to see them.
