THE CONSISTORY: An Interesting Turn of Phrase

Given the sound and the fury, some people -- I'm not one of them, but others -- may find this sentence from the AP story on the porporati quite quibble-worthy:

Catholic experts have praised Levada for being able to uphold orthodox church teaching without creating controversy.

Interesting.... I mean, I agree, that's no secret. But some might just find it quibble-worthy.
